ITR diecast?
Hey guys, I haven't posted at all in the ITR threads yet, but I recently picked up one at the end of summer. So I guess this is my introduction thread too lol.
A lot of people are asking me what I want for christmas presents and I keep trying to find a 1/18th scale diecast model CW ITR. I am not too picky since I haven't found any yet and have been looking for quite a while, but do any of you guys know if they even make any of them!? I want a little one for my room since the real thing is covered in storage lol.
Thanks in advance guys.

Re: ITR diecast?
I've seen pictures of them, I know there is a thread on HT somewhere about Diecast cars.
I'd also like to know if they're still being sold somewhere. I've looked in the past, with no luck.

There are actually several ITR die-casts. I've put together a nice collection over the years. There isn't a 1/18th ITR but there is a 1/24 by Motormax. The white ones are super rare though. You see yellow ones come up now and then on Ebay. They also make them in odd colors that the car was never available in, such as silver and blue. Those are the most common on ebay. Probably people aren't buying them because they aren't authentic. They also make a yellow ITR "tuner series" which has a custom paint scheme. Be prepared to pay about $25 for a yellow one and about $50-$60 for a white one.
Hot Wheels has a series of 1/18 Tuner Series (none ITR) cars that are plastic but allow you to change components. They also made a 1/24 Modifier series with smaller components too. They also have a Tunerz series which is like a comic adaption of how an Acura Integra looks. Similar to those cartoonish t-shirt designs you see.
Metal Maxx also makes a couple of plastic cars. A white Lond Integra with a bodykit and a red Integra with the Wings West kit. These light up underneath when you push the shocks down.
There are also some cars available for the Fast and the Furious movies in 1/64 scale as well as the Johnny Lightning import heat series of cars and a Revell Type R. The Revell is a very nice car. Additionally there is a limited edition white ITR that was produced by Johnny Lightning as an officially endorsed and licensed Honda product. It was given away by dealerships as a promotional thing.
Finally, Ebbro produced a very high quality and limited production 1/43 JDM Integra Type R die-cast. These are super rare these days. They were available in black, white, red, and yellow.
I've also got a few S2K and NSX die casts in my collection, including a 1/14 NSX RC car.
The 1:24 Ebbro NSX and NSX-R models make me drool.... must get them soon...

I myself collect Ebbro 1/43 diecast models. They are very detailed. I have all DC2 models except the CW one, which if you can find one will cost a pretty penny.

Re: ITR diecast?
I wish AutoART made one...my god the detail that goes into those, I would definitely fork out 150-200 for one of their replicas if they made one of an ITR. For now they only have DC5-Rs

Ebbro and Motormax are the best in their respective scales and Revell in the dinky scale although the Johnny Lightning CW limited edition dinky is super cool also.

Re: ITR diecast?
I have the Ebbro 1/43 CW DC2 (stock configuration). I bought it several years ago and its on display in my hobby room. How buch do they go for nowadays anyways? I think I got mine for like $30.00. I want to get my hands on the NSX-R NA2 Prototype; they go for like $70.00

Re: ITR diecast?
Man, I had been trying to sell my NA2 Tokyo Motor Show Prototype for the longest time. Finally sold it recently. You can probably get those for 4000 yen on YJA. As for the CW ITR DC2, they've been selling up to $80 perhaps more. I've seen a few for sale on YJA, but some were either incomplete (no box) or not original (had DC5 wheels swapped on or a DC5 box).

Re: ITR diecast?
I was thinking about getting one that you build but I know that it would have turned out like a 3 yr old did it...well maybe not that bad but it wouldn't have been nice. But I did just receive this today!!!

Re: ITR diecast?
I've got a CW Motor Max still in the box, and another CW, a PY, and a NBP out of the box. The out of the box ones I got a few years ago at a flea market. I also have a Revell 1/64 PY in the packaging, 2 PY "modifiers," with one still in the packaging. I peruse ebay every now and then for good deals. There are/were definitely some guys on here with really cool collections.
