How much does it usually cost to install a Flywheel and FD?
I was told $650 by a shop today.
Is that about right?
Any recommendations on shops in the bay area, good work of course, don't want it to fall apart on me at auto-x.
thanks

I'd say it would cost me about $25 for a good clutch/flywheel replacement. You know, two six packs and Subway for lunch.
But as far as shop prices I'd look around. I've seen clutches installed on B series engines for as little as $400 and as much as $800. Hell, I've even heard of shops pulling the engine just to replace the clutch and chargine the customer for every bit of it. Best advise, get a good "How-To Guide" and do it yourself.

Most places that I asked to do a clutch install said for labor was $ 400-450.
Parts are your own concern.
