Stock Rod = 556 grams
exhaust valve = 19 grams
intake valve = 28-30

I've taken the masses of 3 different sets of ITR rods. The lowest I've seen is 544g and the highest being 553g. The median mass is definitely 546g tho.
Masses taken with stock rod bolts & nuts installed, no bearings, and no wrist pins.

Ok lets have a bit of discussion fellas..
Wont lighter engine parts make the motor more responsive?

1lb = 453.59g and 1g = .0022046lb
Each rod weighs in at around 1.2 lbs. There's not much weight to be saved on the rods.
Even with forged rods that advertise 15% less mass than stock rods, that's only going to take .15lbs off of each rod. You'd probably save equally about the same going with typical, mass-market forged pistons. All together, you'd shave around 1.20lbs from the rotating assy.
Every little bit helps, but probably not as much as you'd think.
It's easier to find responsiveness through power delivery than lightening the bottom-end assy....theoretically speaking.

When using lighter pistons and rods shouldn't you also remove some weight from the counterbalances on the crank to counter this, and have the crank rebalanced? If so you'll save even more weight on the bottom end, and every little bit helps.
