Its easier said then done. took me an hour to figure out how to remove the center console. A manual would be very useful. I left scratches on my console/plastic using a screw driver to pry it up!

everything is easy, but remember when you are trying to remove the part where the ashtray and cigarette light is, all you need to do is give it a little tug and the whole thing comes out. unplug the wire to the cigarette lighter and than pull off the console part where the shift boot is connected.

Remove the 4 screws on the side of the armrest console but the seats.
Pry up the plastic panel with a small flatheaded screwdriver. (I think it's from the back)
Remove the two 10mm bolts.
Remove the 2 screws from frontmost part of the center console.
Take out the ashtray and remove the 3 bolts that hold the ashtray holder and lighter in place.
Remove the two screws that hold the center console to the lower dash.
Unscrew the shiftknob.
Pull the armrest console back and out and over the parking brake handle. You should then be able to remove the center console out.

Re: How to install jdm shift boot? (Integra Type R)
It's a simple procedure and shouldn't take you no more than 30 minutes at most to complete... the hardest or most time consuming is just figuring out how to pull out the center console itself, not the armrest... you have to turn the console sideways then pull up... and you might want to pull your seats back for more working room...
