Default itr?????

How can i tell if type r cams are type r cams????? Figured you guys would Know more than the eg del sol guys. Thanx in advance!!!!

Yeah '99.. I'm assuming they mean for Canada

For '01, see '00.

Yea guys these are 01 cams Iam probally going to buy them this sat. I just need to know if there are or were like #s i could check. Could you also explain the diff in the pick. I just don't want to get scammed!!!!

Well, this pic is of some help, but it doesn't show other B-series VTEC cams such as B16A2-3 and B18C1. You may want to do some searching in other forums for those.

For the '00-'01 USDM ITR camshaft, you're looking for two grooved notches at the end (see pic) as opposed to one grooved notch (see pic of '97-'99 US ITR)

If you're getting them new in the box, here are the part numbers for the USDM '00-'01 ITR cams as you'd order from Acura (if you're getting JDM parts, the part numbers will be different):

14111-P73-J01 CAMSHAFT, IN.
14121-P73-J00 CAMSHAFT, EX.

it would probably be good to right click and save those pix and rehost them somewhere else and then make a new post with the title "how to identify B series CAMS" so that FF squad site doesnt get banged with that hotlinking lol...
