Default Help! My Battery is Dead and Can't Jump Start!

Help!

My battery is so dead the unlock button or using the key won't even open the hatch lock.

I am trying to jump start it (followed all correct instructions for jump starting), but it still won't start.

Anybody know what's wrong?

Any help? My cars have been sitting running hooked together for almost an hour now!

You can bring it to Kragen or Autozone (don't remember which) and they'll check and charge it for free.

Did you try push starting the car?

yeah, try push starting it. Just get it on a small hill..roll it down, clutch and put the key on "ON". then let the clutch out while turning the ignition

Last spring when my battery died after not having driven it in over 2 1/2 months I initially tried push starting it without luck. My neighborhood is too flat of a grade, and it's a bitch to get it rolling with the sticker tires and heavier weight compared to my CRX. So I ended up parking it down the street, borrowed a jumper cable from "the other single guy" on the block who owns a Z3. After that I bought my own jumper cable and made sure I drove it at least every 2 months this winter. However, when I drove it 2 months ago, I only drove 14 miles to and from work without a lot of highway speed above 50.

So this time, after trying for a while on my own, I asked my hottie single MILF (petite blue/blonde) neighbor across the street to rev my CRX while I tried starting it. No luck.

My friend came over with his starter and it started right away. I think it may have been the corrosion on the negative terminal of my CRX battery. I think I'll buy a starter next winter. You just hook it up to the battery and plug it into the outlet. You can even leave it hooked up and plugged in at low setting, and it will trickle charge your battery - not that I want to leave my ITR unlocked with the hood open in the garage all winter!

The battery was so low that the radio alarm light stopped flashing. It barely had enough juice to unlock the doors. Wonder if the key will unlock the door if the battery is completely dead? Anybody remove their battery and see if they can still unlock their door?
