Godspeed Engine Mounts
I've seen these billet mounts on eBay.
Are they any good compared to Innovate
Hasport or Avid?
Am I right in saying that my ITR will utilize
the 3 bolt post mount, I think it's called?
What durometer? I plan on staying na for
a few more months, then 600hp boosted.

Why buy knockoff parts when you can support the company that is the innovator in Honda and Acura engine swaps.
Support Hasport, you get what you pay for and they stand behind their products.

Re: Godspeed Engine Mounts
Yes, I completely agree with all of the above sentiments...
BUT......
It's easy when you can pay like $330 shipped for a set of Hasports,
because you're living in the US.
If I bought them, it would be another $75 shipping, then 20% customs
and 14% tax on the lump sum. That becomes a $530 purchase for ONE
item. When you're doing a full build, the extra cash adds up very quickly.
Make no mistake. Hasport is the first choice based on being tried & trusted,
but for me. I belirve Innovate and Avid aren't far behind, being the NKOTB,
comparatively.
I have no experience with Godspeed, so I had to ask. A friend used them on
his track car in the UK, and said they worked fine, but had no experience with
them as a street/weekend track car.
My teg will be a 600hp turbo, so I'll try to save where I can, but I won't buy
crap, based on price, & at the detriment to my other components.

Re: Godspeed Engine Mounts
Thank you for the PM. I've responded.
Never dealt with them directly. Just had a set for my EK which I sold, but
they looked decent. Unfortunately, looks are rather deceptive.
Thanks for the advice Chad. I do have friends in the US, some family
of family, but nobody I could ask, because I have not spoken to them
in years.
Even so, I doubt this will help me avoid the customs.

Just ask the seller (hasport) to mark the package as a gift, that is what I do in the uk when buying from any overseas seller, as does my family, then there is no import tax

Re: Godspeed Engine Mounts
Won't work for SA customs unfortunately. They allow something stupid like $50 worth of goods per year as a gift.
It's idiotic laws like this that won't allow a country to progress. It's cost, not lack of ability that prevents so many
SA car enthusiasts from embarking on projects that could easily rival the best worldwide. It'll cost double to build a
car in SA, than it would in the US or UK.
That said, Hasport has been EXCEPTIONALLY accommodating, & I will be placing an order today.
Check this out. A guy I know in SA:

A HUGE thank you to Hasport. The service I've been given here has been second to none.
For me, it isn't just a case of a product anymore. I will continue to use
Hasport for all my future builds, & recommend Hasport to all my friends,
not just for a quality product, but outstanding service!!!!!!!!

Go with HASPORT mounts because they been in a game for a long time. I would also recommend Innovative Mounts because they have lift time warranty on the bushings. I bought a use innovative mounts from a buddy and the bushings was bad and i contacted innovative they replace it for me for free.

Re: Godspeed Engine Mounts
I'm curious if anyone has used HARDRACE mounts and HASPORT. I'd like to know if HASPORT is as harsh as HARDRACE. I hate my HARDRACE mounts in my R, but I won't replace them only if they go bad. I would like to try HASPORT, but may just end up going back to OEM. I don't care about engine movement and all that jazz, lol.
