Front LCA/Knuckle/Bearing Replacement Cost Check

Front LCA/Knuckle/Bearing & T-Belt-Water pump Replacement Cost
My new mechanic quoted me $600 total (parts and labor) to replace my Front left LCA/Knuckle/Bearing; but would not tell me what the breakdown of parts/labor cost is. He said this does not include the hub, assuming that it is still usable.
I have no clue if this is correct or reasonable. I know the bearing costs about $50+, but no idea what the LCA or Knuckle costs. He said that the bearings will be unusable after removed from the knuckle, and that I should also re-align my car after that.
He also quoted 700+ for timing belt and water pump replacement (parst & Labor). IS that reasonable?
Any inputs? I need to tell him by tmrw as he needs to order parts. Thanks.

Any suggestions? Or if anyone can provide a rough breakdown of the part prices.
He said this will take roughly 4 hrs of labor.
Thanks.

Tell him to screw himself. Any honest mechanic will give you a breakdown on cost of parts & labor.
You should be able to find a cost on parts here: http://www.acuraautomotivepart...cgry5=

Thanks for the reply. I cannot find the price of the knuckle or LCA. I think the knuckle is listed as 200+, and the LCA as 50+ but cannot confirm. I woudl work on it myslef, but it is getting cold here. Thanks.

LCA - $250 retail
knuckle - $250 retail
bearing - $60 retail
$560 retail
So... how are you guys coming to the conclusion that he's getting screwed?

Sorry I was refering to "He also quoted 700+ for timing belt and water pump replacement (parts & Labor). IS that reasonable?"
should have been clear.

That IS insane. There seemed to be several people saying the knuckle/lca replacement was high.
The thing is... these parts, especially the lca can be bought for next to nothing used. I'd just want to know that I was, in fact, getting new parts if I was spending that kind of money.
