Re: CW UK DC2
Thank you so much for all the comments, the wheels are 16x7 et43 with 205/45/16 RSR's fitted
haha thanks mate, I am going to keep the UKDM tails for now!
Just a quick update regarding the car, I have a rolling road booked for April and Nurburgring in June and I needed a new manifold.
After lots of reading about which one to get, I ended up getting the Tegiwa TODA V2 replica as the original is the best manifold for a B series.

Re: CW UK DC2
Hey Guys,
Thought I would post a quick update, the manifold is now fitted along with a new set of front drop links and also had the tracking done.
The manifold feels a lot better than the 96spec, but I haven't had a chance to go for a long drive due to work!

Re: CW UK DC2
Sweet car.
I noticed that this type R still has the sound deadining rubber stuff on the chassis. Is that normal for a "euro" type R. I know that the usdm and jdm versions don't have that from factory. ... Just curious.

Uk spec goes for £3000-£5000
Jdm spec goes for £4000+ (98+ spec often goes for £5000+ only seen 1 for sale)

Re: CW UK DC2
Depends on taste, personally I wanted a jdm spec but due to insurance it had to be a 98+ model which is rare as f#ck to find for sale and often costs more, so I got a uk spec instead and am very happy with my purchase.

Ahh OK I see because in the USA itrs in general are basically extinct and resell for a lot, I was just wondering if their getting any more rare by you guys . Also, your itr is immaculate man, just absolutely gorgeous. Champion ship white is definitely the best color on a R!

WOW only 6? I mean I figured that year by year Type R's are becoming more rare, especially the JDM ones seeing how they probably get cut up for parts and what not and also a lot of them have been used and abused as track rats and such, I honestly think in 5-8 years there going to be VERY hard to find and will be worth a lot. Sorry about that lol!!!! nhbp is also a very good color, very crimson like.

Re: CW UK DC2
haha yeah they are going to be very rare some day! A lot of them are rusty over here in the UK so get broken
Hey man, where abouts are you looking? I had the rear end rebuilt and the underside undersealed so it may be that!
We get very bad salt on the road in winters over here so pretty much all UKDM's and JDM's are undersealed to stop any rot or rust on the chassis
Just a quick update on the DC2, I traveled up to see Micky to pick up a pristine UKDM bonnet from him. I managed 342 miles on one tank so very happy with that!

I got it home and tested it out, then gave it a quick polish!

It needs fresh paint as the colour match isn't 100% perfect, but I will ask TGM to do it later in the year
I actually received another bonnet, but it was delivered damaged. I am giving away so if any one is intrested, please get in contact!
Yesterday I had a rolling road planned with a few friends from the Audi sport forum.

As you can see, it made 204.1bhp and 140.1lb-ft! Very happy with the results
After that, I drove in to London for some nightime photography and didn't get back until 4AM haha

Re: CW UK DC2
Hey Guys,
Just a quick update on this as I have been meaning to post about my trim to the Nurburgring in June, but still need to finish off the pictures/video so will post a full write up shortly! It was the trip of a lifetime and will be going back next year for sure!
Just one picture of mine on the Ring for now! I'll get the full post finished by the end of the week.

I've decided to refresh the front end and finally fit Mick's old bonnet that is rust free! So that meant buying new bolts for the front end, plus badges..

In the time since I've been back, I had my steering wheel refurbished by Royal Steering wheels and it has come up amazingly!

Currently it's off at the bodyshop being resprayed, but I stripped down the front and cleaned and replaced what I could in the last few weeks! I also changed a electric motor in the headlight for the adjusters, as my passanger side had failed.
Thanks for reading!
