Confirmation...is this a USDM or JDM ITR b-pipe?
I recently purchased a 'JDM ITR b-pipe' from another member, but after inspection, I'm beginning to think this is a USDM ITR b-pipe after all. This will be going on my 01 GSR, so obviously it will make a difference length-wise which pipe it is. Searching the archives didn't help much, there is way too much conflicting information including people saying "I think" or "I heard", and a LOT of people swearing the JDM b-pipe is full 2.5"
Here are the pics:
The full B-Pipe, measures approximately 71.5":
The catalytic converter end of the b-pipe:
The axleback end of the b-pipe:
The piping (not including the bottleneck) appears to have a 2.25" OD. I appreciate any help, as I would normally just take my b-pipe off and measure it, but I do not have access to a jack for another couple weeks and would like to buy my high-flow cat in the meantime. Thanks ITR detectives!

the reason i'm thinking its USDM also is comparing it to the b-pipe on my car now it appears to be the same length, but thats just and eyeball comparison, if i could get under there and actually measure it i would..

another h-t member...he told me it was from passwordjdm. i'm not worried if it is in fact USDM (still got a good price on it), i just need to know so i can buy either an oem length 17" cat or a short jdm 13" cat.

alright, its confirmed, this is a USDM ITR b-pipe. i just talked to b18c1_powered_si who let me know another tidbit of info that i hadn't heard to help distinguish between USDM and JDM. he mentioned that the JDM normally has '2017' stamped on the resonator, while the USDM has '2015' stamped on it...low and behold, mine has 2015 on it. sorry for this long post, but maybe it can provide someone help in the future.

Take a look at the cat bottleneck. If your's looks like the one in the above post than you have a USDM b-pipe. The JDM B-pipe I bought has a shorter bottle neck.
