Compression values of my EUDM Type R
Hi, i'have test my engine compression today,
It 's a EUDM B18C6 with 11.1 CR, the engine have 162300kms (more than 100000 miles).
#1: 16.2 kg/cm² (230psi)
#2: 16.0 kg/cm² (227psi)
#3: 16.2 kg/cm² (230psi)
#4: 16.2 kg/cm² (230psi)
On the Honda service manual, they say 19 kg/cm² for a stock B18C1 or C5 !
Do anybody here have this value ?

Re: Compression values of my EUDM Type R (sylvain)
I'd be happy
You've got a healthy motor
As for the gauge not reading to the exact pressure the service manual states; not all gauges read alike. One gauge may read 230psi, while another reads 250psi, and another reads 200psi.
The important thing is that there is little to no difference in compression between the 4 cylinders.
