Default Clutch Exedy vs ACT

Hi guys, my ITR is around 230bhp. I always had Exedy stage 1 clutch. I was thinking on getting ACT now. Which ACT clutch kit do you guys think is the best for my ITR? Or should i go for Exedy again? Thanks in advance for your help!

I found Exedy good but some of my friend's uses ACT on their ITR's and they tells me that it's a better clutch.

Act hdss over here, used for 25k and going strong, somewhat. Pedal feel is firmer than oem, but both act and exedy are good-depends on how you want to drive

X eleventy billion.

Though I like the 3 puck Exedy thick disc unit over the full face

ATS carbon user at the moment though. Super thin lightness

About 6000kms of use on it before I pulled the engine - severe smoking issues LIGHTER color is when the disc was NEW. Darker outer ring shows very little wear and feels very similar to when it was new.

ACT HDSS for about 45,000 miles driving the crap out of it and still was holding strong until I pulled it out a couple weeks ago for a new build. Great clutch. Pedal firmer than stock however, if you don't like that.

i had an ACT xtss for about 40k on my old turbo integra, sold it to my friend for cheap and he beat the crap out of it for another 20k on his turbo integra all without any issues

used exedy before and had no real problems with it although it just felt like a girly clutch compared to my act pressure plate (held fine though)

I concur

I made the switch from ACT and will never look back. I can't begin to describe how much I hated my experience with the ACT.

On my daily teg I've used the act extreme pressure plate and street strip disk for about 50k havent had any problems with it. I definetly feels much stiffer but I like that

I have had very good results using Clutchmasters, i have also had excellent results using Exedy. Never used anything else.

I have read both good and bad about ACT.

To be perfectly honest, i believe a lot about clutches and their lifespan have more to do with who is behind the wheel, and how much/what kind of abuse it will see.

im in the market as well
220 to the wheels.
moderate amount of street driving mostly HPDE's.
looking at the ACTION 1 MS or the CLUTCHMASTERS FX300.
looking fr more input and doing searches but coming up with zilch.
I currently am using the ACT HDSS and love the pedal preassure so I'll take anything comparable. The only reason i want to move away from the ACT is because a few people i know had their springs pop out of the disk.
