Time to put the R on the market. I bought the R on impulse and now putting it back on the market. I bought it in April of this year, plans have changed and putting the scene on hold.

This caR was bought as a theft recovery but I have a clean title for it. Used to be owned by Gil of Circuit Hero who actually purchased it off a dealership as theft recovery. I am the 4th owner since his ownership. The mods list is the same exact as the last owner because I did not change/upgrade/downgrade any part, nut, or bolt on the car since I bough it. I simply bought it and drove it the way it is.

Only cons about this vehicle is that it is a theft recovery as mentioned above but it does hold a clean title. Also has no heat or a/c as the heater core and blower motors were removed. Also has 3rd gear grind unfortunately. Couple scratches on the front end due to it being my daily. Nothing terrible, all very light. Also burns a little oil and possibly runs lean. I think a re-tune would fix that but it never really bothered me because I baby it and don't get on it every time I drive it.

For sale – 1998 Integra type-r #21. Best car I’ve ever owned – most fun too. Now has about 165K miles. Located in Massachusetts. It’s time for someone else to enjoy this remarkable car as much as I have. Here are some pics of my car from about 10k miles ago:

Here's what you might like:
- Original owner. Bought the car new. Daily driver.
- Always garaged.
- Non-smoker.
- The car is armrest #21 (blackjack!).
- Includes AC option which works great.
- All repairs done by Sunnyside Acura of Nashua (except for a very few small things I did). They have all records back to about 40K miles when they changed computers.
- Huge overhaul around 100k miles, including replacing all shocks/springs/bushings/motor-mounts plus complete going-over.
- Totally stock, except for Comptech intake (which was purchased through Acura), and stereo system. I have the original intake, but I bet you’ll like the sound of the Comptech. I also have the original radio if you want a really horrible radio. 
- Just got front skin/bumper re-sprayed (just had typical dots from pebbles etc…) and rear bumper skin replaced (due to minor rear-end – nothing structural nor structurally significant).
- Original wheels overhauled and re-sprayed maybe 15K miles ago.
- No major accidents. Bodywork is in great shape, except for very small ding in rear-left corner. No door dings.
- Motor is SUPER strong. Always has been. You could drive in 2nd and 5th all day long without even using the other gears.
- I’m extremely easy on the car – I take pride in smooth driving, so the clutch is great for example.
- Never tracked, raced, or riced.
- Burns maybe 1-2 qts per 3k between oil-changes.
- I have a brand-new spare set of type-r mats (not the originals, but aftermarket good looking)
- The header on the engine is in almost-new condition, since for the first 10 years or so, it had a Comptech header on it, so the original header just sat in my basement.
- I’ll include a full set of Enkei (I think that’s what they are) wheels, with Blizzak LM-25 snow-tires
- I’ll include the original service manual.

What you might not like:
- As a new England daily driver, it has normal integra rust. Everyone tells me better than normal. I have pics if interested.
- Interior wear is “normal” for its age, although it is very clean – top of rear seats are a bit faded.

No low-ball offers. No trades.

I know it’s high miles. I get oohs and ahhs all the time with the car. You’ll get the same.

Hey Honda-tech My names Mark and im listing my ITR forsale finally because im about to start my career as an Air traffic Controller. I bought the car from Chris D. in Pennsylvania ( #62 password jdm ek from the honda challenge). This was around 4 years ago and it hurts me to get rid of it. Its always ran beautiful and i've never had any major problems with the car. Chris had a BRAND NEW ITR MOTOR bought from Lee Acura put in the car. I've always regularly changed the oil every 3000 miles. No accidents. No theft. New OEM clutch and flywheel were just installed by jerrys transmissions in Danbury ct. New axles, new brakes, brand new tires, new suspension bushings, new shifter bushings, plus much more OEM parts over the years. Not because of problems, just to prevent any in the future and keep it driving like new. My goals with the car were to never modify any internals or take away from the beautiful authentic type-r. Just awaken the potential with minor mods. I have the paperwork for everything done to the car in the past 5 yrs.

-I also have a Championship White JDM integra type-r front end conversion that comes with the car that I never had the chance to swap, comes with every part to install just needs to be put on. Pics will be taken soon. Bought from (JDM engine Depot, NJ).

I probably forgot some stuff and will update if I did. I am in absolutely no rush to sell this car, I am perfectly fine with it remaining parked . There are only two issues with the car, the passenger axle sometimes "pops" but I have a replacement axle to give to the new buyer. The second is it leaks a bit of oil in the corner where the block meets the head. Most likely it is either the cam cap, distributor o-ring, or v-tec solenoid gasket. It isn't too much hence why I haven't replaced it.

Hey, Honda-techies, I'm posting my 2001 Pheonix Yellow ITR for sale. Badge #01-0776. Clean Title. I hate the idea of departing from it, but I need to get some debts paid off.

I am the 3rd owner of this Type R and I only put roughly 14,000miles on it since I have bought it back in 2007. Right now it's sitting at close to 59,000miles. I have always garaged it and barely drove it. It never seen snow, except for 2 last months of winter in 2010 due to my winter beater's ultimate death. Other than that, it was well cared for. There no rust on it. There are some dings and small chips but over all this car is great in condition. The front bumper grill was cut for the intercooler in the turbo setup the previous owner did. But I had spent a lot of time and money to put it back to it's original ITR form.

The only thing missing from this car is the AC.

The seats condition is 8/10. The backseats rarely been sat on, is almost like new.

You got to see this car to appreciate it. I'm asking $13,000 FIRM!! No less!!! This is priced to sell. If you don't like the price then don't buy. No, I will not part out.

The good:

Story:

This is a well maintained 1997 Integra Type-R with a number of modifications, but also included are a majority of the OE parts required to return the car to near-stock.

#0110 was purchased from the original owner in 2003 100% stock minus the JDM 16” wheels and modified Koni shocks. #0110 was my daily driver until 2005 at which point she went under the knife for a 2.0L track-car build. #0110 attended ITR Expo-5 in Omaha Nebraska in 2005, and has been a garage queen and occasional weekend car since. Since I took ownership in 2003, #0110 has attended about a dozen HPDE’s, and just about as many passes at the drag strip. I am selling #0110 because I’m just not getting the enjoyment out of her that I used to. I have a new toy to occupy my time (and money).

The engine build started in 2005. The 2.0L block now has about 25,000 miles, but despite its age the engine is still strong. I touched up the tune in early June 2012 and made 233whp and 159wtq on a DynoJet, which are the highest numbers yet. Before the dyno compression was 230/250/250/240, so the engine is healthy but starting to show its age. The oil is changed every few months (~500 miles) with Mobil1 5w30 Synthetic with OEM filter (15400-PLM-A01 Filtech). Valve adjustments are performed every-other oil change.

The car still has the factory equipped Air Conditioning (charged) but needs a belt to operate.

#0110 was re-sprayed inside/outside in 2002 with DuPont Championship White paint by previous owner after a front-end collision. All work was completed at a well-known body shop with all components removed before paint, including glass. Replacement parts were all OEM from a donor car, including bumper, hood and fenders. Included with the vehicle purchase are pictures of the donor car and full receipts of the work performed. Other than the missing VIN tags on the bumper/fenders/hood, you would never know this car was in an accident.

Exterior Condition: Make no mistake, this car has been tracked. I’ve hit a few cones with the front bumper, and consequently there have been a slowly increasing number of scuffs and faint paint cracks forming on the front bumper. This damage is not noticeable from +10ft. There are a couple minor dings/chips, I know where they are and you probably won’t see them unless you look hard. Other than that, there are no dents or damage to the car.

This car could be returned to mostly stock very easily. The cylinder head currently on the car has enlarged bores to match the 85mm block, therefore it cannot be installed on the rebuilt OEM 81mm shortblock. If the new owner wishes to install the OEM 81mm shortblock, a PR3 VTEC cylinder head will be needed.

I have an authentic Type-R for sale. The only authentic parts of this car that is Type-R is the shell and title. It was previously stripped by the previous owner and parted out and installed with integra parts then sold to me.

Recently the car was involved in an accident of the front end. Mainly to the driver & passenger side fender needs replacing, the front bumper is damaged but still usable, and the front driver & passenger side wheel needs replacing as well as the tire itself. To repair this, it be very fesible to install a JDM Type-R front end since they parts are going for about $1000 these days and install is pretty direct. The car is still drivable and I still drive in from Seattle to Tacoma on the weekends and recently drove it from Seattle to Vancouver, BC and back without any issues. It's a clean titled itr, however it is does have an odometer brand. An odometer brand is when the DOL has branded the car that the mileage is unknown but by no means the car is a salvage. This just mean the recording of the mileage has not been taken but if you car fax the VIN you will see where it has stopped. In most states like Washington State, when a car has reached 10 years old, they stop recording the mileage on the car.

Paint is in great condition but has chips like any other car

The title is not salvage but it does show that the odometer mileage is not correct but from looking at the carfax it seems correct me to. It's just the NV Department of Licensing screwed up because they did not have the person whom purchased the car get the mileage certified. In Washington and some other states they don't record the mileage due to the car being 10 years and older, it's exempt from mileage so really it doesn't matter on paper.

Runs and drives with no issues and has heat. I still drive it but only on weekends since I walk to work 5 days a week. I have a zipcar account so I rarely drive since a zipcar saves me more money than insuring and paying for gas.

Basic run down.

2001 Acura Integra Type R Serial Number 01-0401. 103400 miles. Milage wont go up because the car is rarely driven. Accident and Rust free, all Original Panels. This R also has the sought after OEM R fog lights in the Front bumper.

Brand new Catalytic Converter and O2 sensors.
Mugen twin loop full cat back exhaust. Best sounding on the market and very expensive new.

Suspension.
Stock shock with Nuespeed springs. Lowers the car about 1.5 inches all the way around.
Skunk 2 camber kits with recent alignment.
Has all stock ITR components such as the front strut bar, front and rear sway bars, all trunk tie bars and chassis tie bars that make the ITR handle so well.

Blue book on this car is 15200. My asking price is 14500 obo.

ac and ps work great. windshield moulding has been replaced.
