Broken Recaro Recline ****
After having the seat in my car for about 4 months the **** broke and won't recline the seat anymore. I pulled the **** off and discovered that part where the recline shaft attaches to the **** broke. It spun freely inside of the **** instead of staying stationary. Have any of you with recaro SRDs experienced this problem before? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: Broken Recaro Recline **** (SonicGSR)
It happened to me on the first set i bought from a CTR. Just pop the circle lit with a thin flat screw driver. U then see the **** spining with center broken off. Remove **** and the center by unscrewing the center screw. Now u have the broken center and the reclining ****. Align the broken piece with **** so u know what postion it broke off from and then EPOXY IT! Use 5 min epoxy, the A & B mixture type. Let it cure and reinstall it. It works with no problem. I did email Recaro USA about buying parts but they say I had to order it from a Recaro Dealer. Try the Epoxy method, GOOD LUCK

Re: Broken Recaro Recline **** (machgo5go)
Cool thanks, I'll do that. I just wonder why Recaro constructed the **** like that. Seems like it can break easily.
