Why don't you inquire? Who cares about other people...?
It's a clean one-owner vehicle. Only thing that concerns me is that it is already modified under the hood, which likely means it was abused. That said, you don't buy a Type-R to shift like a grandma, so really, who cares?

I asked not because I care what other people think, but because I am new to this forum and and the type R market. I have seen on more than one occasion where people have been warned about a specific car because the community is aware of it's past and the general public (myself included) may not realize the car has a well known history (not a good one).

Re: AutoTrader Type R
Someone over on ITRCA was saying they'd looked at it previously and that the car had been resprayed. This is completely second hand info so grain of salt and all that...
