Anyone own this car now in SoCal? (So I kinda found out where my first R ended up...)
First thanks to Chameleon for running my VIN 
And next, after running the Carfax and knowing full well that my car was a total loss that I bought back from my insurance company for roughly $4,500. and sold to a third party that I met through an acquaintance for roughly the same amount of money and with a signed agreement clearly stating the car to be a total loss and without the possiblity of being rebuild But, just being able to be used as a donor car for salvage.

Funny thing is that I sold the car with more than 8,000 miles on it. I was the origional owner and bought it from Scahller Acura in Manchester CT, I registered it there and also filed my loss to the Manchester, CT DMV.
I sold it to a guy in Westchester county NY. Then you can see it was registered in Mass, then to Cali and again in Cali.
My question is, the VIN for the registration is for the motor but, would the VIN for registration indicate that the WHOLE car is in fact still around or would that mean that just the motor is in someones car and being registered?
Here are some Pics of it just after my experience mashing a bovine at 80 plus MPH at 3AM and then going into a cement highway barrier.
What you don't really see is just how tweaked the body of the car is. When you stood a the rear of the car and looked foward, the roof had been shifted almost 7 inches towards the left.
The car still ran and I even drove it in that state to move it in my parking lot, even with the bends and whatnot.
So if anyone has this car, I'd like to let you in on some things you probably don't know.
And if just the motor s running around, I hope it went to a decent home since it was babied and at the time I thought I was doing the right thing by running Mobil1 in it.
Interesting to find out what happens to some things...

Yeah, that's kinda what I was curious about. I mean no big deal, I'm not gonna go posting all over every other site and board looking, I thought I'd just share a bit with you guys.
This is 2 days later at the local Acura dealership where while awaiting a the insurance claims officer they broke into the car, stole lotsa of my CD's my Valentine1, the floor mats and whatever else wasn't bolted down.
I saved the number plate and shift ****. The plate is on my desk and the **** is on my buddeis WRX shifter. I carry a PIC of the wreck with me in my new car to remind me not to be careless.

Thanks, it happened a little over 2 years ago. I got away with no injury at all. The seat was bent almost sideways from the shock of hitting the wall.
The deer got away and the Trooper went to look for it but, couldn't find it.
I'm safe, learned quite a bit and have a new R. So all is good.

PS that is the 4th Deer I've hit. The first 3 I killed, that one got away
I do however have a better kill list than most local hunters I know.
