Default ? about blowing fuses w/ 4300k hids

i installed a philips 4300k hid system about 3 weeks ago in my teg. I bought the kit from trevor on this board. I keep blowing the 10a fuses for both headlights, can any of you tell me why, and i know that no wires are touching b/c it never blew (sp?) a fuse with the stock headlights and the kit is plug and play so no splicing wires. So can anyone help, do i have to put a larger fuse in for these hid's? please help asap!!!

larger fuses = more voltage can flow through without breaking the fuse.

I thought you were suppose to increase it by 5A. You need to increase it because it take more current to ignite the gases.

most of us use 20amp fuses. and yes it requires more INITIAL current draw to
start the lights.

i used 15A has been fine so far. If you give it too much allowance, something else is gonna blow along the line instead of the fuse....that's what fuse is for

Same for me. 15A will work w/o blowing like 10A. Just in case, I keep 15A and 20A in the glovebox.

I believe I used 15A fuses with my 4300k HID kit from Trev, maybe I went with 20A's, not sure, but they have been working great ever since the install, I love em, enjoy

instructions were on the http://www.visualdynamics.ca website. They don't come with the kit. We are assuming you got the website link to those instructions which only trevor can give to you.

-aoib0t, who read the instructions printed from the http://www.visualdynamics.ca

.....I ran mine with 10A all the time when I got the phillips kit. No problem ever.

I put 15A in because everybody said they would be better... still no problems...
