Default 96 spec axles same as 98???

Well I wanted to ask the ITR experts here....

My buddy has the 96 spec ITR suspension on his EK...Currently he has the stock D16.....He wants a 98 spec ITR motor....

My question is are the axles the same on the on the 96 spec and the 98????

I know the 98 spec use 36mm Nut and have 28 splines...Is this the same story with the 96'???

Any info would be of great help

96 spec axles are like any USDM hydro b-series axles. If he get's the ITR motor, any 94-01 Integra axles will work.
