So it's about time to have another meet around here. This time, lets make things a little different. I've been talking to a few people and since the season is in, lets do a beach meet. I've yet to see pics of R's lined up ON the beach. There is one beach I'm thinking of you can drive your cars onto. So as of now, just trying to see how many people are interested. Maybe we can get some out of staters down as well. Ken was a soldier last time, down from ATL. Let's see if we can get Len's goofy *** along with others down. I'm posting this early to find out what dates will work for everyone.

NEO I DON'T WANT TO HERE ANYTHING ABOUT SFL. ONCE YOU COME TO A MEET, THEN CAN YOU SAY WHERE.

Other than that, let me know what you guys think.

Seems like many want this to happen after expo, June 12,13th. Please include whether you want it before or after. This is looking more like it will be 2 day or more event with some staying at Hotels/houses here in FL. Please include if you would like to stay for the 2 days or just stop by. I'd like to get a decent count going so that I can contact hotels and see if we can get a group rate.

Alright, seems like everyone wants to do this after Expo, which I agree with. I'm thinking sometime in mid to late August, so that it get's a little cooler here. For those who are out of state, who don't know about FL's august heat, consider yourself lucky. Anyway, after looking at the calendar There's the weekend of the 19-20th, 26-27 and then Early Septermber with the 2-3rd. You guys, the date is up to you. I'm still trying to give as much notice as possible. So let me know what works for you!

So far, those who have showed interest. If you need to be added to the list, just PM me and I'll add ya.

Looks like the weekend of July 22-23rd is going to work for most. Please let me know if you have any questions about hotels or directions. I'll see if I can get in contact with some hotels in the area and find out how many people are considered a group rate.

Ok, so what kind of dates are going to work for you guys. I don't want to set anything now, I want suggestions so nobody can claim they didn't know or it wouldn't work. We can make this happen soon, or wait until August, doesn't matter to me. I'm just trying to get a bunch of ITR owners together for a day at the beach. For those coming from out of town, I'm sure arrangements can be made for Hotels at the beach or someone will probably be willing to host a few people at their place.

Well if there is enough interest, we can make it a weekend. Especially if a bunch of out of staters decide they want to join.

So I'm guessing this meet gonna be in Daytona? I may get off my lazy *** and make the trip if it's at a good time (meaning a weekend that's not before I got finals for my summer courses). With that said... I'd prolly go only if it don't interfere with school , so count me in as 50/50.

No, not in Gheytona. I was thinking New Symerna Beach actually, but I'm waiting to see what others recommend as well. This will be on a weekend, and most likely more than one day since there seems to be interest from others outside of the state. I know what Ken went through last year for the FL meet. What dates are the school stuff so we can plan around it.

Hey Dave I have a three day weekend (on May 27-29) thats the memorial day weekend. Can we set it on that weekend? O and I should be able to get some discount (because of school hehehe) on hotel in Daytona Beach for people that I know.

O and car on the beach (you guys better rinse that sand off fast). My beater Accord shows it.

I thought about that weekend too, but I don't want to interfere with anyones family plans, plus it doesn't give those who are out of state enough time/prep to make it.

As for the sand/salt on the car. I used to take mine all the time. I'll have to dig up the pics of it. It's not so bad, we'll just have someone bring a hose and rinse the cars off.
