"Tuning Fork" sound
Hey people
I have this strange sound that comes from my car once everything is turned off ..
its a strange vibrating sound .. much like a tuning fork .. its not so much a noise .. it sounds like controlled vibrating..
the funny thing is . it goes on and off and doesnt seem to be constant ..
its normally after a drive .. but more apparent when i go hard ..
anybody got ANY idea what it is ??

could be your sound....sometimes a car's emissions system makes weird noises when the car is shut off.......and you don't hear the noise when the car is on?

I think it is the ABS. Mine does it when the car is off. It sound like it's coming from the front of the rear driver's side wheel. My Prelude did it when I started the car. The weird thing is that it will make the sound even if I haven't driven the car in a while.
