Default Your Integra Sedan Exhaust Setup?

As said in title, what's your current exhaust setup? And how does it sound?

I currently have a DC Sports 4-2-1 -> Blackworks Racing Test Pipe -> OEM GSR piping.

I recorded my car earlier and noticed I have that annoying/nasty tin can sound. From the interior, the car sounds normal lol. Just the outside..sounds disgusting.

Really thinking about replacing the test pipe with a hi-flo cat or something just to have it sound somewhat stock again.

Meh, save your money for a 2.5" or 3" setup ..depending on your future engine upgrade, ie..high comp b-series, h2b or k-swap. Thats when you'll need a newer, higher flowing exhaust system.

But, I do know what you mean about the annoying tin can sound. I guess you should just disregard it for the time being.

Yea, you and a buddy of mine have said the same thing. To just disregard it and proceed with whatever future build I'm going with. Which is most likely turbo lol. Pretty sure I'm going that route, especially since I have the means to do so now.

Exactly what does "normal" sound like?

Are you running an OEM muffler at the end of that piping?

Normal as in, you don't hear your exhaust or anything. You just hear sounds coming from the motor and that's it. And yea, OEM muffler at the end.

If your plan is to go turbo then save up and turbo it then get a exhaust that will suit your needs power wise afterwords, if it sounds good to you in the car then who cares how it sounds outside? Lol

That tin can sound usually comes as a result of running a test pipe in place of a cat and running an OEM muffler... or you may just have a small exhaust leak...

But no point in spending any money replacing it if you're going to run turbo in the near future.

a test pipe will do that, i ran one in my teg for a little while but i the sound changed when i went to a 2.5 in magnaflow cat (like 75 bucks) and had the flanges from the test pipe welded on and installed for like 50. + now i dont have to worry about emissions. which is important when you go obd2 ot obd1 swap for turbo and have to have the 2500 rpm emissions test.

Yea you guys are right. I'll just deal with it now until the car goes under the knife for the turbo install and such.

Thanks for the info brotha. I'm not too worried about emissions right now as my current motor won't pass at all regardless lol.

It could probably pass, only if I'm lucky and the inspector doesn't know it's an LS/V setup lol. Other than that, I got emissions taken cared of though.

VIN plate on the block matches the dash plate... throw on a cat and you shouldn't have a problem if everything else is in good working order.

You got this handled... still give you props for picking that db up.
