ok so i have a 95 gsr sedan .disk brakes all the way around ofcourse..drivers side rear was sticking or something the other day so im gonna replace the caliper and shoes and everything...but question i have is ...why would my brakelights no longer work now?...could this problem trigger a fuse to blow or something?..........plus give input and its much appreciated ...thanks!

Check the slider pins for free motion on the caliper in question. The brake lights are not related to the calipers. The switch is on the brake pedal.

if brake lights are out, check the bulbs first than brake switch. Most likely culprit are the bulbs.

A blown fuse or bad brake light switch is far more common then all the brake light bulbs going at one time. 94

if the piston on the caliper goes back easy then most likely the culprit for the brakes sticking is hardware... pull the pins and inspect... you can use some brake and caliper grease on the pics then put it back together and see if the problems goes away... check bulbs first then go from there...
