Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (vtecvoodoo)
Yeah, that's what I thought, until I picked up a set of 16" Volk TE37's for my other Integra. They fit perfect. I don't know about 15" wheels fitting, though. For $680, I think its a great deal. You get some badass Wilwood 4 piston calipers along with 12.19" two-piece rotors. The rotors are super light and are anodized black. I dunno, I like it. The car brakes HARD and fast, it's almost scary. My cousin has a 2001 BMW 330CI M-sport and I can hang with him as far as braking from 100mph. I think it's the best bang for the buck mod you can do.

It's on the front page, too: http://www.overbooststore.com
The kits are in stock ready to ship.
The Kosei K1's need a 15mm spacer to fit properly. You should go ahead and replace the studs with longer ones while you are at it. The RG's cleared with no problem on my buddy's Civic with the same brake kit.
15 inch wheels WILL fit with a 20mm spacer.

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (2.0L Turbo)
Yeah Wilwood had this kit on the shelf for a while and finally decided to release it, much to my dismay.
My 11.75" kit uses the slightly larger Superlite calipers and fits under the 15" stock rims. No spacers required on the rims I have tested. Priced at about the same as the Wilwood kit...

I guess I should do a step by step install article for the 11" and 11.75" kits as they are almost identical as far as the install goes.

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (fastbrakes)
Brian,
as far as the willwood kit for our CRX's, which factory 15" do they work with and not work with? Right now I currently have 96 GS-R 15x6's on there.
Is there a difference between the 88's and 90-91's since I know the they have different calipers?
thanks

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (Jesse H)
What I am wondering is if Willwood will finally release the 4 piston replacement calipers for integras (10,4"). I have inquired about that with them couple months ago and I was told that they would be available for beginning next year. Anyone would be interested in that? I think it is all you need for the track if you use some cooling ducts.

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (Jesse H)
I have test fitted them to the 95 GSR wheels and the Rota C8, they have lots of room between the spokes and the outer caliper body. No difference between Civic/CRX and Integra as far as fitment goes...

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (Screamer)
I already have a 4 piston kit for the Teg, but it uses 11" rotors, and still fits under the stock wheels....putting 4 pots on the stock size rotors is kind of a waste, since you won't get any benefits other than brake modulation...

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (2.0L Turbo)
Since a lot of people like the stock wheels, I test fit my brakes with the 95 GSR wheels. They are a good representation of the stock 15's. I also use a Rota C8 in 15x 6.5 as an example of the aftermarket wheels.
I don't think I have ever been told the brakes won't fit an aftermarket 15" wheel, but occasionally a stock wheel owner will let me know the 4 piston kits touch a wheel spoke.

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (fastbrakes)
yeah, for clarification....my friend that had issues with the caliper touching his wheel did NOT buy a fastbrakes kit, he picked it up from wilwood and has had issues from it, but he did order a rear fastbrakes kit and it has worked perfect and had no issues, the wilwood kit from wilwood has just been a headache for him though.

Re: Wilwood Big Brake Kit Install (fastbrakes)
Well no, on a stock rotor it will improve pad wear as well as faster heat exchange due to the caliper being made of aluminum. A good caliper and a good set of pads is all you need when you go to the track, unless you race professionally. Also if you enjoy taking your car to the drag park, you could still fit a 14" wheel on this setup. This is why I am still enquiering with Willwood on making replacement calipers.
