will a vtec solenoid from a D16 work for a B17 GSR
I bought a used b17 GSR head to build an lsv. I'm looking for a vtec solenoid.Will any vtec solenoid work?

if its just a different plug,that shouldn't be a problem.do you know if they are shaped the same,or if the dohc solenoid operates at a higher oil pressure.the reason I am thinking of oil pressure,DOHC vtec pushes 2 cams sohc only 1

It does not matter. The pressure solenoid works on just that, detecting pressure and activating VTEC.
