Will a B20 head work??
Ok so I have a b18 ls motor and I got offerd a B20 non Vtec head.. WHat all would I need to make that conversion??? this is the ifnfo from the head.
Ive got a non-vtec jdm B20 P8R head for sale. If you know what this is you know what its worth. Its just been resurfaced and gone through with a relap on the valves, guides and seals, tank and resurface. Pulled it off to put a VTEC head on. Absolutly nothing wrong with it. will get pics for anyone interested. Asking $225.
For those that dont know, this is a non vtec head with vtec sized valves and vtec size ports. With some light cleanup port work, Crower 403 turbo cams on a boosted setup, this head can make WAAAY more power than any other non-vtec head, close to what a vtec head can make. This head is very hard to find and well worth what im asking. If you dont wanna spend the money to go vtec but want close to vtec power, this is your only option. Comes with intake manifold, valve cover, all rockers and caps, cams.

The conversion requires nothing as far as parts. Remove stock head, replace with this one. Bolt manifolds back on, start it up and drive.
Of course you will need to replace your head gasket, maybe the plugs while your at it.
Depending on how much material was removed for the resurface, the CR could be higher and you may want to see a tuner.
