I just called up advanced auto parts and they said they are a special order item but are only 1.68 each......rather than 1.99 +S&H online....

i clicked the google ad below and found out that http://www.rockauto.com has them for 1.61 plus shipping. i ordered 20 last monday, and was delivered saturday of the same week. total came out to be around 39 bucks, so thats about $2 a plug.

OEM Integra GS-R plugs are NGK Platinum and retail for $11-$15 each
NGK copper plugs for under $2 each.
Sure you have to change the copper plugs more often, but even in the long run the price difference is so large that you still end up spending less money w/ copper plugs. Copper also conducts electricity better than platinum or iridium, so another plus there.
IMHO long life is the only advantage of platinum or iridium plugs, but it's SO EASY to change the plugs on an Integra that the cost isn't worth it to me. I'd rather just spend $8 and about 5 minutes every 10K-15K miles changing my copper plugs. Some cars like FWD V6 cars have spark plugs that are extremely difficult to access. In these cases then yeah a platinum or iridium plug that lasts 100K miles would be a better choice.

ditto...
when I clean my car i sometimes pull out a spark plug to check if they are alright...takes 4 bolts and then the plug itself.
