I used to work in a detail shop and the best way to remove it would be to get some ammonia and soak the tint. Just lay down plastic in the car so that you dont get it everywhere. Then use a razor blade and it should come out pretty easily. You just have to be careful with the defrost grid on the back window.

You can get ammonia in the cleaning products aisle at your local super market.

Another good way, to remove tint where you should NOT have to scrape the window, go buy some ammonia as other people have suggested, then go out on a nice and warm sunny day (the sunnier the better), and take a thick large plastic bag and cut out the shape of the window. Now cover anything that you dont want ammonia on in the back, and spray the window down with ammonia (gonna stink really bad) and then put the window cutout on the inside of your window. Get all the bubbles out and make sure the bag is sticking to everything. Let the back window bake in the sun for about 10-15 minutes (heat+ammonia FTW) and then you should easily be able to peel the back tint off.

forget amonia, the easiest way is to remove window tint is to use a steamer.

Beavis is right, I totally forgot about that. If you have access to a steamer definetly do it that way!

Ok. Is that easier than using a heat gun?

I used an iron and the steam feature on it. cause I didn't have a steamer and I must say steam blows a razor or ammonia out of the water.
