What tube is this? (I am in the middle of a head gasket replacement)
hey guys,
i am changing my head gasket for the first time. i just got the head back from the dealership so i am ready to start putting her back together again after i clean the bottom end up, but there was one small peculiar looking hose/tube that i remember pulling off during removal that appeared broken, but "glued on" with some kind of blue silicone sealant.
if you take a look at the pic below, i circled in green a grommet looking thing that i think is supposed to be attached to the hose that i pulled off. is this some kind of vacuum hose? and if i remember correctly, it resembled an "L" shape. i think it goes up into the bottom of the intake manifold.
also, what is this hose going down into? i'm not sure what the square box thing is and i'm having a hard time finding exact diagrams...
thanks for any info!

thanks for the help! ok now i am starting to think that i may have an older b18b1 engine in my '94. which might explain why i was having a little trouble finding a diagram. the ones in the '94 service manual look slightly different.
in any case, i believe the part i am looking for is #3 from the left set of tubes. mine broke in half and the bottom part is stuck in the rubber grommet.
thanks again for the help!!
after some research i believe i have the part number. i'll leave it here for future reference if it helps anyone: 11854-PR3-000
