use a b16 or gs-r timing belt because ls water pumps only have 19 teeth and you have 22 teeth

You need to use the LS/B20 OEM belt...most people use adjustable cam gears on LSV or B20V swaps because the timing will be off a little bit, also if the head/block have been milled down this may also effect it. So LS/B20 OEM belt with adjustable cam gears is key.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/how-build-%22reliable%22-lsvtec-b20vtec-1676914/

^^^ best LS/VTEC how-to thread on H-T in my opinion.

Parts list includes a 22-tooth water pump (B16/GSR/ITR) and a GSR/ITR timing belt. I would go by that.

LS waterpump = LS Timing belt
GSR/B16 Waterpump = GSR Timing belt

B16 timing belt wont work on a 1.8-2.0

B16 only works on b16 motor.
b18 block w/ 22 tooth pump use the gsr/itr belt.
b18 block w/ 19 tooth pump use the ls belt.

It's very simple.
