Anything that lists oil / chemical resistant in its description. With proper prep and a good coat of clear, pretty much any paint will work.

^ this. let it sit for a couple of minutes and it should peel off.. id suggest using some type of pressure washer or high power hose. oh and you might have to take a brush to stubborn spots.

Ah great thanks I'll get a can autozone..one can should be ok?
So I spray it and let it sit for a good hour?
Or the paint will start to come off in a min or so.?
And clear coat what one?

Also how long would it take so that I can drive my car?
Do I have to let the paint set over night?

Thanks guys

I think it only needs like 15 mins, then you just wash it and scrub it off.... All this shouldnt take more than a day.. couple of hours only

Use the aircraft stripper. Spray it on and let sit for 5-10 minutes and spray off with hose. If there are some tough spots left over then re spray those areas and use a wire brush on them. I use my compressor and air nozzle and spray the valve cover off to get all the water out of it. Then just paint it with whatever color you want. Sometimes there are dark spots left on the metal so if using a lighter color be sure to primer it first then paint it. If it's a hot day then a few hours in the sun and your fine if no let it sit overnight. I always use vht wrinkle paint and bake it in the oven for 30 minutes. Then wait about an hour and put it back on. Comes out looking oem every time. I just did this one like a month ago.
