What kind of Suspension do y'all have on Teg?
In the future, not too soon, but soon enough, i plan on upgrading my suspension. This is after i get my wheels and what not will probably be by next summer because i want to do everyone at once. What kind of suspension do y'all have on your tegs? I'm looking at 16in wheels so i'm thinking that would be close to a 2" drop?
I was thinking springs/shocks/upper&lower strut bars/Sway Bar/camber(?)
I want to have really good suspension so i don't have to upgrade it in the future? Which company makes good parts for these, also am i going crazy with a 2" drop? How low would suffice for 16s w/ the OEM kit?
I haven't found any good springs yet that would give me the drop amount that i want any reccomendations? Also what brand makes good shocks? I was looking at Mugen upper&lower strut bars, they aren't that much more expensive then the noname brands... do Spoon struts work for all 94-01 tegs (DC2)? OR just DC2 type Rs?? And what would be a good sway bar? ITR stock sway bar good? I see a lot of people buying those up... Also how much am i looking at? The rims and tires i want (Subzeros and kuhmo 712s are going to be about $800 total), so those plus all that suspension does that put me at about 1500? or am i talkin bout 2000? I also would have to pay to have all this **** installed correct? because they have to align it and stuff? And finally one last question do I need a camber kit, or is that only if i want to go real low?
Thanks for all your help, i wasn't sure if i should ask here or in the tech forum, but since i have a teg i wanted to see what y'all have on your cars.

i had H&R Oe's with bilstein shocks. Worked pretty damn good IMO. If i were you, id just get H&R or eibach springs with some nice adjustable shocks, and an ITR rear sway bar.

Honestly, I have Monroe Sensatracs on Sprint 3.25's. Have had this setup for almost 3 years. Struts and shocks are still good. No problems, less money.

SPRINT SPRINGS ( 2.5F 2.25R) Perfect drop for 16" rims. Make sure and get the right 40 series....205/45/16 will do it. KONI YELLOWS kick MAJOR ***, also, you WILL NEED a camber kit no matter how low you go. Unless of course you like to replace your tires every month

im runnin on some progress competition coilovers. They make all the suspension parts you need. THey sell regular springs and shocks as well as sway bars to bushing to bearings. check em out at progressauto.com...by the way...the coilovers are the BEST! They hold 1.0 G's

My setup: 400F/500R with KONI 8041 shocks revalved front and back, shortened 1.5 inches (3/4 off the rod and 3/4 off the body) from Truechoice... the ride is like stock except over potholes or through construction sites.
The shocks do not bottom out, but the chasis can... so I still need to use some sense over speed bumps and ramps.
Currently the front is lowered 2-1/4 inches and the rear is 2 inches... no tire gap.
