weird start up problem? not the starter!
ok so i just put a b16 in my teg went to start it up and it started up fine. turned it off it would start back. but if i push start the car it starts up fine and drives fine without any problems just perfect. so i tought mayb the starter was messed up so i change it out. i get the same problem. when i turn the key i hear the starter spinning sometimes i even hear it grinding on the flywheel. so now im thinking either my flywheel is messed up or i installed both starters wrong which i doubt. is it possible to instal the starter to the teeth on the starter are hitting the teeth on the flywheel instead of the groves?

You check the flywheel before you put it in? (any teeth missing?)
You put the right starter in?
