Default ViS Cf Trunk.. Can you still thump a sub /w it and be safe?

Hi i own a 95 acura integra RS and i have a ViS CF Trunk.. i was wondering if it would be safe to be thumping a sub.. nothing so strong just a lil something so i dont just hear all tweets... i dunno if the Trunk will crack or anything.. but wondering if its safe to thump a sub /w a CF trunk also anyone know where they sell the trunk supports so i dont have to hold up my trunk, the two trunk bars that hold up the trunk...

carbon fiber is stronger than the metal your trunk is made out of so if you old trunk can take it this one probably can too

why would you get a CF trunk (for weight reduction I guess?) and then have a heavy sub back there?

CF is stronger and lighter then the OEM trunk, I still don't see a point in having it though, atleast in your case.

and if CF was stronger then OEM metal.. why cant i juss slamm my hood but intsead have to go down slowly and close it slowly.. same /w the trunk..

when you slam the hood, it dents and deforms the metal because cars like ours have thin hoods.

What kind of setup will you be running? 1 or 2 subs? 1 10" or 12" sub couldn't be a problem, unless it's some kind of super comp two thousand watt awesomeness.

i think cf trunks are sexy especially if u match it with a cf hood and cf itr wing. it aint ghetto, thats pure sex

and you will save 2-3 pounds, nothing monumental...

and cf is soooo much stronger than fiberglass... fiber images runs one over at there factory, no break, show me a fiberglass that gets run over and survives???

expletive the haters

it will be fine. the sub only pushes air and does not have enough power to dent or break cf..and your trunk is not 100% airtight, so if you "thump" it, some of the air will escape into the cabin through the rear seats or the nooks and crannies of your car.

so again, yes..you will be fine thumping your sub(s) with the carbon fiber trunk.
hope that helps

Wow I can't believe it ran that thing over and didnt do anything and then had a Uhaul auto transport with a car on it and it still did nothing. The auto transport from Uhaul weighs a grip i work there. with a car on it thats insane.
