Default Turning noise help please and i searched.

Ok so i made a hard u-turn with 4 people in my car and it made a nasty sound. and when i turn left now it makes this whizzing sound. like when ur in a stand still and u turn ur wheel and ur tired make that rubbing noise. well i have coilovers and i checked for wheel rub and there wasnt any. checked for my axle boot and there're a couple of cracks but no grease leaking. so my guess is did i knock something loose? or is it a bushing or another boot somewhere? can anyone help. also i filled up my power steering fluids so thats done with, extra info are: i have function form coilovers/96 GSR rims (sunflower i think they call it). 195/60 tire size. well thanks for you help and time.
-Vinny.

Take the hub to a machine shop and use a press to get the wheel bearing off... Auto parts stores might be able to rent out another tool that you can use while the hub is on the car.

You said the 'whizzing' noise sounded like the tire gripping the ground when sitting still? That sounds like an alignment issue.

If the noise is a 'whirring' or 'humming' sound when you turn left, then the rightside wheelbearing is the culprit. If you are hearing a noise like the tire losing traction then you may have an alignment issue (primarily the TOE adjustment)

you may be able to find the wheel bearing for 50-60... Some places might even sell and press them into the hub for under $100. As far as other parts to replace... I would say only replace what needs to be replaced. Check your ball joints, axles, etc...

I paid $48 a piece for mine from Acura, but I got the "dealer hookup" You shouldn't pay more than $60 no matter where it's from. I paid $150 (Replaced both of them) to a service tech on the side to press the old ones out and press the new ones in for me. Hopefully that gives you a good ballpark figure of what it's going to cost.
