Default Turn Signal Wiring Woes

So I bought the sockets and what not to replace what the thieves cut off on the driver side after stealing my clear corners...

I went to put it all together... there are two extra wires near the main turn signal bulb, so I'm not sure which 3 wires to connect. There are 2 red, 2 black and 1 green. I connected 1 of each color to the main socket. So then I tested it.

With headlights off: turn signal right (passenger, which wasn't cut) works fine, turn signal left (driver, which was cut) works fine.

Headlights on: There are two bulbs behind the turn signal. I think the smaller one is supposed to be on when you turn the headlights on. Passenger side, second light comes on. Driver side, main bulb comes on. Also, with headlights on, my left (driver side) turn signal on my dash display comes on. This makes sense to me because I think the wrong light is turning on with the headlights on. Also, turn signal left (driver side) blinks differently and makes different noises inside the car with the headlights on. This also kind of makes sense because of the wrong light thing again.

I'm going to try the other two wires, but I don't see how that will change the secondary light wiring, unless connecting the wrong two wires some how shorts out the secondary bulb. Anybody have any insight into this wiring. I'm going to try changing the wires first chance i get, but i'm wondering what people think.

So answer this first.... on 98+ integras, with the headlights on, which bulbs on the turn signals are on? The main bulb or the smaller bulb on the side?
