Default Trans problems, stumped

I just finished doing a full gsr swap into my ek, the problem is I can shift into 1st, 2nd, 5th and reverse fine, but 3rd and 4th are just not there. It's like hitting a wall. I had the trans apart prior to putting it in and everything seemed fine. Any idea?

You said EVERYTHING looked fine! did you or another person inspect the internals?

And did these issues happen after you inspected the trans or did you have the same problem before you inspected it?

you have either bad sleaves or your shift fork may be bent and or other internal problems id rule out the clutch at this point.

Does it go into the 3-4 gate with the engine off?

I had originally purchased the trans together but needing a main shaft bearing, I did the bearing and since then had problems with shifting. Benching shifting I could get through all the gears, then one day it wouldn't shift at all. (Figured the pin for the assembly has popped out, and it did) so I resplit the case and put the pin back in, then it wouldn't shift into 1st or 2nd, split it again and got it to shift, but then when I put it back in, it wouldn't shift again. But no it won't shift with the car off either

How were the synchro springs? When i first got my trans, it had no 3rd gear due to the synchro spring being completely broken. You say its like hittig a wall. If you try pushing harder, does it grind?
