Title says GS instead of GSR

Title says GS instead of GSR
So my Title says its a GS. I checked the vins on the car and Title and they both say DC2, has the VTEC, leather, redlines at 8k. Pretty sure it's a GSR. Anyone else have the problem with the title saying GS instead of GSR?

Re: Title says GS instead of GSR
This could have been a typo in paperwork from someone at the original dealership who sold the car or some worker at the DMV. Insurance companies go by VIN, not what the title says the trim is.

Were these cars stock?

Re: Title says GS instead of GSR
It's actually quite simple for someone filling out title application paperwork to mess this up. It's well documented what models have what chassis code. Honda quality control would not allow for random chassis codes to be placed on vehicles. This is what the Helms manual says for US 94-01 Integra's:
DB7: INTEGRA 4-door/B18B1
DB8: INTEGRA 4-door/B18C1
DC2: INTEGRA 3-door/B18C1, B18C5
DC4: INTEGRA 3-door/B18B1
DB7: INTEGRA 4-door/B18B1
DB8: INTEGRA 4-door/B18C1
DC2: INTEGRA 3-door/B18C1, B18C5
DC4: INTEGRA 3-door/B18B1

Well either someone made an error filing paper work or someone did a really good job replacing vins and tacking them on really well and doing a conversion. As long as the car functions and you can get it insured, you shouldn't let it bug you unless you're OCD about it.

Re: Title says GS instead of GSR
I wouldn't stress about it. All my title says is "2000 Acura Integra", it doesn't go farther than that. Of course, the VIN tells you everything you need to know. The guy who sold me the car called it an "Integra GS," he never mentioned "GSR" anywhere on the bill of sale or in the ad listing the car for sale.

keep in mind if you are not 110% positive on somethin just say AFAIK (as far as i know) or just mention that you are not exactly sure.
