Default Throttle position sensor???

I have a jdm b16 motor the problem is when you start to give the car gas it seems jerky and when you let off the gas it's jerky. I was wondering if it's the throttle position sensor? How could I check it to see if that's the problem? Then if it does need to be replaced where can I find the right sensor?? Thanks for any help

Get a multimeter and check the voltage of that sensor. It should be 0.5v in closed and 5v in wide open throttle. Also, check the range from 0.5 to 5. Should go smoothly while opening.
I never tried, but people say, TPS is the same for all our cars. Even one from civic should work.
Good luck fixing it!

If the tps is bad the check engine light should pop on...some times the speed sensor can do that to if its a electronic speed sensor.
