terrible steering squeaking.
Arite guys.. I have a 95 integra.
The front suspension is squeaking. And its unbearable. I had already changed both front lower and upper control arms. Lower ball joints, and I replace all four tie rods. And shocks and springs are about 1 yr old
The noise is coming from the passenger side. Whenever I turn the steering wheel, and even when I hit a bump.
My question is would a bad inner tie rod cause the prob? Or even if water get inside cuz boot "bellows' is damaged?
I need some help asap. Its madd snow out here. And im afriad of breakin something while driving.

If your afrade of breaking something give your car a shake down on the front end.
So the noise when you turn the steering wheel and when you **** a bump are the same or are they different?

Play in the bushing from them being shot can cause this. If your worried about the inner tie rods bein bad shake the front end down.
Another possibility is the top hats on the struts could be causing your noise, but not very likely

Re: terrible steering squeaking.
well the inner tie is good the wheel doesnt shake when i move it.
but i did find this out, the squeaking goes away if lift it up. so, what i did was i greased up the rackn pinion on the pass. side and the outer tie rod. The noise when away.
i think its the outer tie rod b/c when i jacket up the car there was a gap bwtn the tie rod the knuckle to where its bolts to

Re: terrible steering squeaking.
ok so i changed the outer tie rod and it's still sqeaking..
it only sqeaks when the wheels are straight and if i turn it half left or half right.. if i turn it all the way left/right its fine or if i turn it fast its fine.
could my springs have anything to do with this, due to it being rusted and a coilover sleeve? According to autozone's website trouble shooting guide.
