have someone try to isolate the squeek while you step on the clutch. find where its coming from and then see if greasing it helps. i'm geussing most of the noise happens when the car is cold. since things tend to be more sticky when cold, after they warm up they loosed a little. check the clutch fork.

Cable or clutch fork should squeak about the same with the engine running or not running.

If the engine needs to run in order to make the noise, look at throw-out bearing or pilot bearing or something that only spins with the engine running.

mine is making a squeek too, it happens even if the car is bone cold off. I was thinking it was my declining master cylinder?

Listen while someone works the clutch. Find the exact location of the sound.
