Spark plugs arnt coming undone..help!
Im going to replace the valve cover gaskets and spark plugs on my 94 integra today, and when I went to unscrew the spark plugs last time, but it would barely budge. I maybe thought the threads were backwards so I tried goin to the right to unscrew it, but still no luck... everytime I try to unscrew them (to the left) it will move a lil then wouldnt go anymore like it was tightining. Im afraid to put full force cause I dont want to break anything... Why might this be happening? are they just tough to unscrew sometimes?
please help, thank you....

That's what she said.
Zing!
The intense heat causes the metal to rust and freeze the threads in place. Use WD40 or liquid wrench to help free them up. Then when you install your new plugs, use a anti-seize compound to prevent it from happening again.

I had a spark plug do the same exact thing, after carefully looking i found a rubber ring that was around the spark plug which was preventing it from loosening. i heated the rubber by warming up the car fully then after it was off, i loosened the plug and it barely came undone.

So I put the gaskets on and everthing. But in the process, one of the spark plugs threads busted off. The threads stuck in there, so I cant put a replacement spark plug in. Is it even possible to still drive my car with just 3 spark plugs? cause I went to start my car, but the plug wire litteraly blew off of the valve cover.
do I have to take it in to a mechanic? or what?

you may be able to use a helicoil. I have heard of some people using it on sleds and various cars. The thing is though, there tricky to put in, and if you screw up, oh f*ck. Have a shop put one in, or buy a new head. its up to you. Either way, i think the head needs to come off.

Yeah you gunna have to run a helicoil if the threds are striped no way around it this is actually done a lot. It fairly cheap to have a shop do it. It takes less than an hour. U cant retap a stripped sparkplug hole back to its original size ur just gunna run into the same problem.

Well theres a auto repair shop like almost right behind my house, just a couple min away...
Would it not be safe to drive it? (If I took off the plug wire for just that one?)
I really dont want to have to get it towed..

I wouldn't recommend running it with just 3 cylinders, but it should work, i know people that lost compression from a bad head gasket and it still drove.
Edit - How much thread is stuck in there? You'r going to have to pull off the head because metal shavings in your cylinder = no good.

omg...
1. I wouldn't recomend driving it, but its your car and you can if you want too.
2. Either way, the head most likely has to come off. If you broke the spark plug off in there, it's usually because whoever put it in last, put it in crooked and now its all jacked up. I bought a 99 Integra like that. Took the head off, drilled out the hole, and put a heli coil in it. Cost $90 for the machine work.

OK so I called up another auto shop, and he said I can just ground the plug wire and drive it on over. Said he had a couple tricks that he could do, which would cost around 70 bucks...But im reading around and im seeing alot of ppl arent so lucky..
what are the chances of me getting this fixed for an affordable price?...

Im pretty sure it would of happend to anyone who would of attempted it...
How do I ground the plug wire??? they told me to just lay it on the intake manifold, and I did. But it keeps blowing off everytime I try to start it...

Dude, if your spark plug wire is out of the head, how is it blowing off? Put a piece of wire in the plug wire, tape it on, then zip tie it to something metal on your engine and drive that **** to the shop. If you don't want to tow it, this is what you have to do. Grounding it will make sure the spark jumps at the end of the plug wire instead of inside your distributor, which could damage it.
It will be fine on 3 cylinders for a one or two block drive and anyone who tells you different should think again.
