Default Spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor

I have about 60k miles on my gsr. I was just wondering how often everyone changes their spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Do you think its necessary to replace at 60k?

I would change the cap/rotor but the plug wires should be just fine. The rotor generally looks pretty burnt up after about 30k of use.

You can use an ITR rotor I belive...it's a bit stronger then the regular one that you purchase for the LS/GSR

The older GSR has been superseded by the ITR....thus if you go to honda and order one for the GSR you get the ITR one. Also the back cover is a little different but that will come with it.

its a good idea to replace your pcv valve and fuel filter at 60k too.

my tune up schedule:

rotor, cap, plugs, fuel filter every 30k
wires every 60k.

thats just what i do. many people do it differently.

Yea, it still shows the P72 part #, but if you actually order it, you should get a P73 (or atleast i did when i ordered mine and I called to make sure it was the right **** and thats what the guy told me).

its really easy. they are both right under the hood. the pcv valve is on top of the intake manifold and the fuel filter is on the firewall near the battery.

Where is a good place to buy the cap and rotor from other than the dealership?
