Default skipped a tooth?

is there any way to see if my timing belt skipped a tooth? could i put it to tdc and check the marks? or do ihave to use a timing light?

Yeah, put the crank at TDC and check if the cams are aligned to TDC as well. You could do it with a timing light, but the first method will be more accurate to eliminate any other variables.
