Default Shudder on acceleration

I started noticing my car shudders sometimes as I accelerate.

I recently had the tires rotated and I dont think they were rotated in the same direction as before. After that is when I started noticing it...

When was the last time you replaced your axles. My brother had a vibration and it was the inner cv going out on the driver side. I would check there first.

Replace both axles. I had the same problem, replaced just the passenger side at first. The problem was still there. After I installed the drivers side that problem was solved.

Im still having the shuddering. I dont think its any of the above problems listed. I know my passenger side lower ball joint was blown recently. I wander if that could cause it. It only does it when i am at least 50 percent throttle...

Does the steering wheel shake or the whole car itself?

Does the engine cause the shake? Or does something in the suspension make it do that?

Are you using a light weight flywheel? When my car was stock (LS), I couldnt recall this happening. However since I rebuilt the motor as an LS/V I've swapped to an ITR tranny with an 8lb flywheel.

The car shutters sometimes if I'm making a slight turn as Im pulling out of my driveway in 1st until the car gets rolling. Of course my new clutch grabs pretty suddenly compared to the original which only adds to the problem, probably.

I am using a lighter flywheel but I doubt thats it. Ive had it in for years. Im gonna have a look at the underside and do some troubleshooting tomorrrow. Ill post the problem for informative purposes if I find it...

I had the same issue.
It was a bad upper ball joint, replaced both and aligned the car.
