Default shake and bake?

Alright my integra RS just started shaking when I drive it. It like rumbles when I give it too much gas. I just got the car but it never did that before. I know I need new mounts but its too much shakeing to be caused just by the mounts. Anyone have any clue on what this could be?

UPDATE:3/6/08 Well the tire rod is changed, I changed the rim because it was bent. I put screws to hold down the rotor because they were missing and the shaking reduced a bit but I still got shake. I know its not the wheel bearing because theres no noise and my tire does not move anymore because I changed the tire rod.

UPDATE:3/11/09 Alright axles are good, everything is fine no play in the wheel no movement except rotation. I noticed one thing though, I looked under the tire tod I changed and its not flat/flush on the peice. Like its angeled and not sitting flush with the thingy its sitting on. Could this be the problem? Also it only shakes when the wheel is turned a bit to the right. When im going on a curve to the left doing 50+ theres no shake or anything.

Where is the timing set? Does it sound like knocking? Is this RPM or throttle position dependent?

Do you feel any shaking in the steering wheel or the driver seat?? Does this happen while it's setting still or moving???

Could be a number of things..
Wheels might need to be balanced..
Might need an alignment..
Engine mounts wore..
Axles..

I have no idea, i havent checked anything yet i just got the car.

While im accelerating, i can be doing 100 and let go of the gas and it wont shake

I had a similar problem upon accelerating.. and it turned out to be my passenger side axle..

Check your CV boots and see if they're busted or slinging grease

I would check both axles.. and also it could be a simple alignment..

Think about it.. If the car is wanting to pull to the left and you keep the steering wheel straight.. there's gonna be some vibration upon acceleration.. also can cause abnormal tire wear.. check the wear on the tires.

yeah i thought it was the alignment as well and the balanced tires. Im going to check as soon as possible and see if I can fix it.

Alright a couple days late but axels are good. But my passanger side wheel can be moved back in forth with little effort. Im thinking it's my tire rod. Any other things it can be?

It could be tie rod.. also possibly wheel bearing.. do you hear a loud roaring noise while your driving?? or when you cut the wheel that way?

nope no noise, just some shake

Can you shake the wheel up and down as well as side to side with just that wheel raised? This will seperate the tie rod from the wheel bearing.

that sounds like wheel bearing, but is it just the wheel or the entire knuckle?

my old da the entire spindal moved back and forth. turned out to be those trailing arm bushings, the ones that are in the front cross member. idk what theyre called.

also, after i had fixed that it still shook, had an extra axle and switched it(seeing that it only take like 5 min) and it stopped.

when you take off with no hands on the wheel does the car pull to the side?

Definitely sounds like the tie-rod and/ or hub bearing. I had a similar problem and switched those out and got a wheel aligment while I was at it. That was $200 well spent. Good luck finding your problem though.

So you replace the tie rod and got it dead on 100% without getting an alignment?

Jack your car up and see if you can wiggle your wheel left to right.. see if it has play..

also try to move it up and down..

yeah i got it perfect without even trying. theres no play at all in the wheel and its doesnt pull at all.

Have you replaced the bad mounts? Full throttle plus bad mounts leas to drivetrain shift and potential binding.

just for fun make sure all your struts are on the correct sides. i had a friend that was having a similar problem that only happened areound 50 mph so i looked at his suspension and realized that he had all the struts on the wrong sides. changed them and tightened all the control arm bolts and he told me the car drove fine.
