selling a salvage title car??
I own a 1997 Integra RS with a salvage title (hit a tree at only 20 mph, needed minor repairs). I have been trying with my spare time to get the car registered in Florida, but i do not have all the papers of the repairs to register the car. I dont want to register a car with forged papers, or having to redo the repairs all over again JUST to get papers...
I am looking into selling it.... preferably to someone in georgia (they can register cars without needing repair papers). This car is Bone Stock and NEAR MINT (only 44,1XX miles).
i have 2 questions:
1. How hard would it be to sell the car?
2. What would the car be worth with a salvage title, compared to a rebuilt title?

Re: selling a salvage title car?? (THALADOR)
I'm in TX where it doesn't matter if you have a salvage title, you can register either. I bought my 99 Integra LS with 54k miles in June of 04. Car appeared to be in mint condition at the time, but had been hit on the side and had a salvage title. The car was going for about $10k at the time, I got mine for $6200. You can probably ebay your car for a decent amount, but a number of people seem to be scared of salvage-title cars. I personally don't care, depending on what the circumstances were involving the "salvage" label.
