Replacing Power Steering Line Instructions and Tips
Hello Everyone,
Today while driving the car into my driveway I noticed some fluid dripping from under the car. Upon popping the hood I realize it's coming from the line on the driver side of the bay going from a point down below the IM to the power steering fluid resevoir. There were two cracks in the rubber line right where it bends near the windsheild washer resevoir. Now I assume because this line leads to the resevoir and the fluid smells and feels like power steering/brake fluid that this line in a power steering line.
After examining the line, I must admit that I am not entirely sure how to replace it. Honestly, I'm not even sure what part number it is after looking at some parts diagrams.
Thus, I come to you all for help. If anyone can find/knows the part number it would be greatly appreciated but mostly if anyone can give some hints or a quick run through of things to look out for/how to get started it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ian
