Replacing Lower Ball Joint
Most ball joint threads pertain to removing the ball joint from the LCA. I want to know how to remove the lower ball joint all together.
Here's a pic i found on T-I.net. I have already removed the ball joint from the LCA and taken off the crown nut and cotter pin. I want to know how to pop the ball joint out from the rotor to replace it
If you know how to do this would it be possible for you to photoshop this pic so that I know specifically what your're talkin about. Thanks in advance.

Re: Replacing Lower Ball Joint (JohnWayne)
Remove the whole hub assembly out and take it to a machine shop to have the ball joint pressed out. Also why are you taking out the ball joint for? If the ball joint is still good and the boot is ripped you can go to honda and buy a new boot, a whole alot easier and cheaper then replacing the whole ball joint.

use a ball joint removal tool. Its essentialy a C clamp with different size sleeves and cups that fit over the joint an allow you to press it out easily

i think you mean that you want to take the ball joint out of the knuckle. if you don't A) have a press that you can remove the whole knuckle and press it out or B) have the ball joint remover tool; C clap with hooks basically,
then your in for a fight with that balljoint. i took the whole knuckle off, then, with the help of 3 friends, 2 holding it to the work bench, one holding a 5-8inch peice of aluminum pipe, and me swinging like a monkey hitting the pipe with a 20lb sledge hammer is the only way of getting that sucker out and back in.
