Quick! Alternatives for Honda High temp Urea Grease
Is it okay to use an off the shelf high temp grease instead of the Honda grease for lubricating tranny-related parts (pilot bearing for etc.)? No access to any within a 50 mile radius...I've been to 2 Honda dealerships and they don't have any. I need my car on the road asap...but should I order from a&h and wait until next week or what? Help!

i was in the same boat.
i used wheel bearing grease. it's REALLY thick blue stuff. i figured if it can withstand the heat a bearing gets, then it should do the job for lubricating the points of contact for the throwout bearing.

I just bought some Valvoline wheel bearing grease. It's pretty thick...very hard to take off my hands. I'm hoping this will be okay. 
I wish I had the Honda stuff though...
