Default ac clutch not engaging..any help!?!?

96 integra ac clutch not engaging...had replaced belt, compressor and filled up refrigerant...found out there's no ground going to ac clutch relay...I bypass it and grounded the relay and ac started working...what could be the problem? Bad ecu? Short wire some where? Any help before I take it to shop...

Post the diagram and I can tell you where to check.
If its a relay not closing then it should be simple. I don't know how the circuit works so I would need to see a diagram

spooledupracing is your friend:

it would be nice if links to those manuals could be posted in a prominent place
instead of me having to paste it in on a daily basis lol.

No solid check engine lights on right? I had my ac stop working when my tps died and the car thought it was at 100% throttle the whole time.

Sensor might be bad or you over pressurized the system and need to release some freon.

How much "freon", [R134a refrigerant] did you put into the system?

You either have a bad pressure switch or you did not put in enough refrigerant, overcharging the system would still let the A/C compressor turn on and the pressure switch would turn it off when head pressure got too high, [454psi is cut-off on the Integra binary pressure switch]
